Select the installer for your computer from the links below. Upon clicking the link, you will be asked to enter the username and password you received from NwETA.

cTRAIN for Windows (112 MB)

For Windows 2000, XP and Vista*.
* When using cTRAIN on Vista, User Account Control must be turned off.

cTRAIN for Mac (156 MB)

Universal Binary - for Mac OS X version 10.3.9 and above.

This cTRAIN demo expires December 1, 2008.

Download and Installation Instructions

  • If the download dialog allows you to Run the download or Save it, click Save.
  • When downloading is finished, double-click the installer to start the installation process.
  • You must accept the terms of licensing to install cTRAIN and its content. Click the “Accept” button to do so.
  • On Windows computers, the installer will take you through three screens before installation begins. You can safely accept the default answers in these screens, or override the defaults with your own preferences.
  • On Macintosh computers, the installer mounts a ‘virtual disk’ on your computer. The virtual disk contains the cTRAIN folder; drag the cTRAIN folder from the virtual disk to the location on your computer where you wish to install cTRAIN. This will cause the cTRAIN folder to be copied to your computer. When copying is completed, eject (unmount) the virtual disk.

When the above steps are completed, cTRAIN is ready to use. You are not required to restart your computer before using cTRAIN.

Startup Instructions

  • Double click the cTRAIN icon >>>>
  • Enter any name in the ‘user name’ rectangle
  • Click ‘New Training’
  • Click the check box for ‘Include intro Screens’
  • Click ‘Begin Session’

Afterwards, if you try again with the same name, cTRAIN will find your previous session, so you must use a new name to begin at the beginning.
